Il disco del mese di Agosto.

Fresco come una bibita ghiacciata. Ideale come sottofondo sotto l'ombrellone mentre divorate il vs libro del momento. Carico come la serata che vi accingete a trascorrere con gli amici al mare o in qualsiasi altra parte del globo. Tutto questo è "One Thousand Pictures" dei Pete and the Pirates. La band proveniente da Reading, UK, è piuttosto interessante. Il leader  è Thomas Sanders. Segnalo tra i brani “Come to the bar”, singolo di lancio dell’album che fa l’occhiolino a band come  Flaming Lips e "Winter 1″. Quest'ultima risulta invece elettronica, nevrotica, riporta agli anni 80 e a tutta la scena post new wave tanto di moda ultimamente.
